Wuthering Heights
28 June 2019

(Prices include £1.50 booking fee)

7.30pm performance

Chapterhouse Theatre Company celebrate 20 years (it seems all the best people have an anniversary this summer!) by returning to Gawsworth once more, after splendid recent performances on the theatre lawn of Pride and Prejudice, and Sherlock Holmes.

And this June, they bring to life the wild and tempestuous love story of Emily Brontë’s classic novel, Wuthering Heights.

Set on the beautiful and mysterious Yorkshire moors, this tale of passion and revenge has thrilled readers and audiences alike for generations and now, in an adaptation by award-winning writer Laura Turner, is set to entrance us all once more.

Can Catherine and Heathcliff’s love endure, or will the forces of nature tear them apart? Join us in the Hall’s beautiful surroundings to find out.

(No Children under six years old may attend performances.)
