7.30pm performance

Back once more, after so many stand-out performances on the theatre lawn in recent years, are original Manfred Mann members Paul Jones and Tom McGuinness, plus former member Mike d’Abo.

This all-star line-up, featuring both lead singers from the hugely popular ‘60s band, are joined by Rob Townsend on drums, Marcus Cliffe on bass guitar and Simon Currie on saxophone/flute.

Since re-uniting as The Manfreds in 1991, they have been in high demand thanks to their unique mix of rhythm and blues with an undercurrent of jazz, and a back-catalogue packed with top 10 hits.

Do Wah Diddy Diddy, perhaps the most instantly recognisable song of the era, leads the way. And along with this UK and US chart topper, they’ll also be showcasing the likes of 5-4-3-2-1, Pretty Flamingo, and The Mighty Quinn.

Get ready for a group still at the height of their powers!

(No Children under six years old may attend performances.)
