£18, tickets available on the gate.

7pm performance

With guest vocalist Matthew Ford

A fixture of the Hall summer season since 2012, there are few finer sights and sounds on the theatre lawn than Foden’s in full flow!

Formed in 1900, in the village of Elworth near Sandbach, this world-class brass band are multiple winners of the British Open, All England Masters and have also brought home the European Championship. Over the years, we’ve witnessed many heroic Proms favourites from these talented musicians – including Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem, I Vow to Thee my Country, and of course Rule Britannia – mixed with the finest contemporary compositions from the likes of John Williams and Paul McCartney.

This year they will also be joined by guest vocalist Matthew Ford – who has previously starred with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, and BBC Big Band – for a wonderful mix of classic numbers from Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Matt Monro.

(No Children under six years old may attend performances.)
