Our opening weekend of 2013! Come and make the most of looking round Cheshire's finest lived in historic house, with free admission for children under 16. Once you've explored the Hall, gardens and ancient rookery, not forgetting to feed the ducks (we've over 50), pop into the tea room for homemade cake, and jam and cream scones. Parking is free of charge too.

Classic Car Show
Monday 6 May
10.30am - 4.00pm

Started in 1998, the show takes place in the walled Elizabethan pleasure gardens. One of our most popular events, attracting veteran, vintage and classic cars together with more exotic modern vehicles, the day includes a display, autojumble and informal concours. Other interesting vehicles on display include motorcycles, military vehicles and historic tractors.

Craft and Gift Fairs
25, 26 & 27 May and 24, 25 & 26 August
10.00am - 5.00pm
Adults £3.00, Children under 16 free of charge.
Organised by the Creative Craft Association, our fairs have been running for over a decade and offer a wonderful opportunity to buy a wide selection of British Crafts and stunning giftware. Speciality Food and Drinks are also available, with a large number of further activities taking place each day. These popular events take place over the Spring and August bank holiday weekends and offer exceptional value with free parking included.

Garden History

We're pleased to welcome back internationally renowned floral designer Barry Grey, who will again transform the Hall with his wonderfully theatrical swags, garlands and stunning flower arrangements. In the Orchard tea room, we'll be serving homemade mulled wine and Mrs Richards' Christmas cake to complete the perfect festive event.
